HAUSE Documentation

Follow the material out

Ask where removed materials go and what record you receive.

HAUSE FIELD GUIDE · REVIEWED 25 OCTOBER 2026

01

Separate the waste streams

Ordinary contents, sharps, chemicals and affected building materials may need different handling and destinations. The classification is a qualified assessment question, not a choice made by a web tool. Ask the provider to explain the basis used for the materials in your project.

02

Clarify the responsibility

Record who arranges containers, transport and acceptance at the destination. Ask which local requirements apply and who is responsible for any required documentation. Do not assume that a generic rubbish-removal allowance includes every material that might be found.

03

Connect quantities with the quote

Ask how quantities are estimated and how additional materials will be approved. Container, transport and destination charges can be separate from removal labour. Keep estimated quantities distinct from the final recorded amount so a change can be understood and checked.

04

Retain the final record

Ask what receipts, manifests or other records are relevant and included. Keep them with the scope and contents decisions. A disposal record is one part of completion; it does not independently establish that every affected surface was assessed or that a property is ready for use.
